By the October 2004 launch, Play 99.6 was an immediate success, and officially branded as ‘Jordan’s No.1 Hit Music Station,’ a ranking no other station has been able to achieve to this day. Utilizing an energetic and modern format, Play 99.6 has become the go-to station for young, hip, fun-loving Amman listeners. In June 2008 Modern Media launched Jordan’s newest station, Sunny 105.1; Jordan’s adult contemporary station touting itself for its ‘Feel Good Music,’ which no doubt is following into Play’s successful footsteps.
